Grade: Scale 3/4 point 6 to 10 (£12.58 - £12.92 per hour) (Exact salary depending upon qualifications, number of hours worked and experience) + Premium for Night Working.
Working Pattern: Term Time only (39 Weeks per year)
There is no requirement for the postholder to work weekends or public holidays.

Linden Lodge School is a leading provider of education for visually-impaired children and young people aged 2 – 19 years. We are constantly building and growing our provision and an opportunity to join our highly skilled team as a Waking Night Support Worker has become available within our residential unit, Richley House.
Our team of waking night support workers ensure that all of our students’ medical and care needs are met throughout the night hours. You'll be working within a small team of colleagues committed to providing high quality care to the children and young people within the residential unit.
This is an exciting time to join the school, our most recent OFSTED was judged as “Good” (November 2019). Stating ‘Boarders live in modern, purpose built accommodation. They have full use of the school’s extensive facilities, which include a hydrotherapy pool and a music suite. Boarders engage well with staff and each other.’
We have a three acre campus in Wimbledon with good transport links (8 minutes’ walk from Southfields underground station on the District Line and well positioned for 493 and 39 bus routes) offering indoor and outdoor innovative facilities to support teaching, learning whilst promoting children and young people’s independence.
Candidates must possess a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare OR be willing to undertake this qualification
