Kindergarten Teacher (Waldorf Programme)
Are you a dedicated early childhood educator with a passion for holistic, play-based learning? The Island Private School of Limassol is seeking a nurturing and experienced Kindergarten Teacher to join our thriving Waldorf Programme in August 2025. What You’ll Do:
As a Waldorf Kindergarten Teacher, you will guide young children through a rich and rhythmic daily experience that nurtures imagination, social connection, and healthy development. Your role will include:
- Delivering the Waldorf Early Childhood curriculum through storytelling, song, movement, handwork, and seasonal activities.
- Creating a warm, safe, and sensory-rich environment that supports the whole child.
- Maintaining a consistent daily and weekly rhythm to promote security and joy in learning.
- Observing and supporting each child’s physical, emotional, and social development.
- Building strong, collaborative relationships with parents and colleagues.
- Contributing to school life through festivals, events, and open communication.
What We’re Looking For:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Early Years Education (required).
- Certification in Steiner Waldorf Early Childhood Education or 2+ years of experience in a Waldorf kindergarten setting.
- Understanding of anthroposophy and the developmental needs of young children.
Skills:
- Creative, artistic, and purposeful in your teaching approach.
- Strong observation, classroom management, and organisational skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Fluent English (C1–C2 level).

- Warm, grounded, and joyful in working with young children.
- Committed to continued professional and inner development.
- Collaborative and community-oriented in nature.
Recruitment Process:
- Panel Interview with the Head of School, Early Years Faculty Lead, and People & Culture Partner (30–45 minutes).
- Teaching Demonstration: in-person or recorded session (60 minutes).
- Safeguarding Check: reference and police clearances required.

Our Campus
Currently we are operating in a temporary campus, opened in September 2022 which includes 3 areas: Pre-Primary, Primary and Secondary School as well as outdoor sport courts, playgrounds, canteen, 2 art studios, 2 music rooms and 2 libraries.
Future Campus
Drawing inspiration from renowned educational projects worldwide and working in collaboration with one of the leading architectural bureaus, we are about to shape the future of our school. Among other features, the permanent campus will include 5 laboratories, 2 art studios, swimming pool, sports base for both indoor and outdoor activities and much more.
By 2026, we aim to bring our vision to life and establish a vibrant educational environment for global citizens. This inclusive space will cater to the needs of our students, parents, teachers and international specialists, fostering mutual support and collaboration.
