Scale: SCP 15 – 19 (Subject to job evaluation)
Salary: £23,541 – £25,481 (FTE, Salary to be pro rata)
Contract: Permanent
Northern Education Trust is seeking to appoint a highly dedicated individual to support the development of safeguarding, welfare and attendance across two primary academies, Badger Hill Academy and Whitecliffe Academy.
The successful candidate will:
Have a good understanding of keeping children safe in education, experience in supporting children and families who are in need and have the knowledge and expertise to be the nominated DSL across both academies
Be able to support the development of safeguarding, child protection policies and procedures and offer advice and guidance to staff; coordinating referrals, arranging action and reviewing services for children and families
Be confident to lead on the implementation of the behaviour policy and its administration
Be organised and efficient to provide administrative support to promote academy attendance strategies
Be proficient in the use of ICT, to analyse attendance data and impact positively on improving attendance for particular groups and individuals.
