Position: Welfare Assistant

Location: Fairchildes Primary School, Croydon

Department: SEN Dept/ Early Years

Type: Part-time 22.5 hours per week

Grade range- Grade 1 Scp 2

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide care support to children in the Early Years, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
• Administer first aid as needed, adhering to school policies and procedures.
• Promote a healthy and inclusive environment where every child feels valued and supported.
• Helping children with their toileting needs.

Requirements:

• A caring and compassionate approach, with a genuine passion for working with children, particularly those with SEN.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• An up to date first aid qualification is desirable.
