Welfare Specialist Teaching Assistant

We are looking for a caring and conscientious Welfare Specialist Teaching Assistant to join our Trust.

You should have a patient and calm attitude and enjoy working with children and young people with a diverse range of special educational needs. These include learning, profound and multiple, autism and social, emotional and mental health disabilities. A sense of humour and a sense of perspective are also essential.

Hornbeam Academy Trust is a small Multi Academy Trust of 3 Special Schools (on 4 sites) in East London and Essex. It is made up of Hornbeam Academy (in Waltham Forest) and Dycorts School and Ravensbourne School (in Havering).

Monday to Friday

Term time only - 45.6 weeks per year

32.5 hours per week

Salary: APTC 4, points 18-21 (currently £19,919 - £21,984)

(Actual salary £15,725 - £17,357)
