The Sheffield College
We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and skilled individual to work as part of our Well-being & Safeguarding team.
Within our Student Support and Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND) Services, you will work closely with Senior Safeguarding Officers as well as other support staff to identify and respond to need. In particular, you will directly support individuals or groups of students who are experiencing emotional health issues.
The role will require strong organisational skills to oversee and coordinate referrals, arrange, action and maintain accurate, confidential and up to date documentation on all cases of safeguarding and child protection. You will also collate and produce statistical information with regards to safeguarding and prepare appropriate reports for statutory meetings, including core review meetings, child in need and child protection multi-agency meetings.
You will have demonstrable experience of working effectively with vulnerable young people in either education, social work, youth work or another related area of work.
