Woodbridge High School is a successful school situated in the heart of Woodford Green, North East London. It is fully comprehensive with an ethnically and socially diverse intake. Woodbridge has a leading mental health provision which is renowned for its broad and dynamic approach to wellbeing in education. Our services cater with versatility and creativity, to the community’s needs around emotional health. We are seeking to appoint a Wellbeing Officer to help in planning, delivering and administrating the wellbeing offer within our school. The post holder will work with individuals, groups and accommodate students who have self-referred. Candidates should have training, experience or qualifications for working with children and young people and experience in a role which involved safeguarding.

Woodbridge High School is a thriving, ethnically diverse, successful comprehensive secondary school that serves its local community in the heart of Woodford. The school is a ten form entry school with 300 students in each year group.

The sixth form of 400 students continues to prosper with the majority of our students staying on after year 11. The teaching staff are all specialists in their separate areas and permanently contracted to the school. Year on year the school attracts a high number of first-choice applications for year 7 entry, with a record number of first choice places allocated this year. The school has a diverse curriculum that meets the needs of all the students and provides them with a pathway towards their chosen careers. The school is a happy, flourishing and mutually respectful place of learning.

The latest Ofsted report describes it as a place where students 'receive an excellent education' and where 'behaviour in and around the school is exceptional' . Government figures reveal that students at Woodbridge achieve beyond their expected performance levels.
