Job overview

We are a secondary school for the Profoundly Deaf and pupils with language and literacy delay. Our pupils communicate using BSL, SSE and spoken voice. We want to recruit a Wellbeing Mentor to work with the Assistant Head of Personal Development and Welfare and the whole school team to support pupils and parents in maintaining full attendance and to follow up Safeguarding concerns. We need an experienced, flexible professional with a record of working with families and who is able to represent the school at inter-agency meetings.

Salary: £27,433 - £29,032 per annum
Hours: 36 hours a week. Term Time plus 3 weeks (39 + 3 = 42 weeks)
