Our client is an elite, independent school, located in Sydney’s Lower North Shore. This P-12 school enjoys a strong commitment to academic excellence, a wide range of subject choices, extensive co-curricular activities, small class sizes and outstanding HSC results. Each year this school offers the chance for students in Years 7-10 to spend Term 3 at Winter Camp within the mountains of southern New South Wales. Whilst on camp the students are required to attend academic classes alongside snow sports and games.


About the Role:

• Full-time contract for Term 3, 2021 only

• Teaching Year 9-10 Maths alongside the students’ Winter activities

• Based at the Winter camp with the students for the duration of the contract

• Required to assist with morning, evening and night-time duties as well as supervision of students during activities

• Private accommodation and food included

• Thredbo lift pass included and opportunities to partake in winter sports during free time with equipment included


Selection Criteria:

• Possess a valid First Aid and CPR certificate

• Candidates who have or have the ability to obtain an Australian mini-bus licence would be advantageous

• Passionate about Pastoral Care

• Possess current references

• Hold a Secondary teaching qualification recognised in Australia

• Experience teaching either Maths desirable but Newly Qualified Teachers welcome to apply

• Be registered, or have the ability to be registered with NESA

• Candidates on Working Holiday Visas are welcome to apply
