About the Role

The position will be required to have the ability to work effectively with colleagues and the Secondary Coordinator to develop a vision and profile for Industrial Technology at St Anne’s. Additionally, the successful person will have the ability to ensure that their focus on student learning is continuous, compliant with current curriculum requirements and relative to the needs of students.

Essential Criteria

  • Promote stewardship of our Vision for a Catholic School in the Josephite tradition.
  • Be a teacher of experience and initiative who can work effectively with colleagues, students and families.
  • Demonstrate a deep knowledge of contemporary issues and practices in teaching from Years 7-10.
  • Contribute to the development of pedagogy and assessment practices across the curriculum.
  • As a classroom leader work effectively with colleagues and the Secondary Coordinator to develop a vision and profile for Wood/Metal Industrial Technology.
  • Support the School to build community with staff, students and their families.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues, students, parents and community members.
