Fixed Term | Immediate start (negotiable) to 14 January 2024

School Officer Level 3 | $61,408 to $64,011 per annum + super (pro rata)

 

The role:

This role will see you work collaboratively with school communities to provide support, advice and assistance to the Principal and staff in Work Health and Safety Management System implementation. The role will see you supporting the coordination of WHS requirements of a school within the Toowoomba Diocese.  You will:

  • Coordinate and respond to safety system tasks in line with regulatory obligations and judicial requirements
  • Provide guidance and assistance to teaching staff on risk evaluations 
  • Empower staff to mitigate risk and increase the safety of students
  • Follow up on incidents when they arise
  • Spot checks and audits
  • General administration tasks
