Work Placement Co-ordinator

We are looking for a Work Placement Co-ordinator to join our Foundations Studies team.

As a Work Placement Co-ordinator, you will facilitate work experience for full time foundation students and develop opportunities for employer liaison. You will be liaising with the relevant curriculum staff to promote the value of work experience placement programmes to employers.

You will need to hold the skill level equivalent to achievement of HNC, A-Level, or NVQ3.  You should hold strong proven experience acquired in a similar role. It is essential to have good written and verbal communication skills to work successfully with employers, clients, colleagues and staff from other agencies. Although not essential, an understanding of the needs of people with learning difficulties and disabilities would be advantageous.  Level 2 English and Maths is required.

Hours: 7.4 hours per week, 52 weeks per year (0.2 fte) (£4,427 - £4,983 per annum for 7.4 hours per week). Hours to be worked over one day.
