Job overview
West Thames College is looking for an enthusiastic, well organised, motivated individual to provide the appropriate professional support for activities around employability and work placements.
As the work placement coordinator you will assist the Careers and Employability manager in the day to day running of the work experience programme, and will lead on work experience issues as required. You will create and maintain links with employers as well as make the necessary arrangements with internal departments and directly with employers, including ensuring that all health and safety checks are carried out before students attend. You will also work closely with our employability advisers on shared initiatives such as employment fairs and industry insight days.
