Students in our academy made more progress than in any other school in London and made the best progress of any co-educational school in the country in 2014 (Best 8 score 1081.4). In addition, we have maintained our results in 2017 at a level significantly above national averages. We are looking for a highly motivated, exceptional individual to take on a maternity cover for the role of a Work-Related Coordinator and Careers Adviser to help bring work-related learning to life and prepare young people for the world of work.
You will be working with excellent staff in this exciting and challenging post. You need to have extremely high expectations to ensure children regardless of gender, ethnicity and religion achieve to the best of their ability.
Successful candidates for this post will be required to have the following skills, knowledge and abilities:
· Proven ability to organise and deliver education business link and work-related learning / enterprise projects and activities
· Experience of successful partnership and multi-agency liaison and negotiating with different partner organisations
· Development and delivery of Work Related Learning programmes
· Proven ability to work as part of a team, prioritise and manage constant, and often conflicting, demands
· High level of communication, presentation, literacy and numeracy skills
