Grade:£35,000
Full time – 37 hours per week
Accountable to:Executive Principal / Head of Marketing and Communications
Role:Supporting the Executive Principal and Leaders across the Trust on a range of identified operational and strategic objectives. NB: The post-holder will be expected to travel between all academies within the Trust and on certain days may be required to work beyond normal hours in order to attend meetings.
Purpose of job:
To work across the academies within the Trust to lead and develop identified operational and strategic objectives to support the work of the Executive Principal, Chief Financial Officer and the Head of Marketing and Communications.
Key strategic project areas will include:· School Improvement· Fundraising· Capital / Buildings Improvement· Trust Expansion· Quality Assurance· Data Development· Marketing and Communications· General Research and Reporting
General Duties and Responsibilities:School Improvement
· Working closely with the Executive Principal to implement an outstanding quality assurance framework across the Trust
· Working closely with the Associate Principals and Assistant Principals to develop high quality external school improvement partnerships
· Produce high quality and professionally presented documentation and reports in a variety of formats to present to Local Accountability Boards and the Trust Board
· Provide high quality administration for the Trust’s school improvement work
Fundraising
· Working closely with the Executive Principal, Chief Financial Officer and Head of Marketing and Communications to identify a range of funding streams
· Working closely with the Chief Financial Officer and Head of Marketing and Communications to prepare and submit funding bids
· Working closely with Head of Marketing and Communications to develop a wide of range of stakeholder partnerships within private sector businesses
Capital
· Working closely with the Chief Financial officer to identify funding opportunities for capital projects
· Working closely with the Chief Financial Officer and Academy Business Managers to ensure high quality management and maintenance of Trust buildings and capital resources
· Working with the Chief Financial Officer to carry out due diligence work on any new Academy that joins the Trust
· Working with the Chief Financial Officer and Academy Business Managers to ensure outstanding health and safety procedures are in place across the Trust. This includes organizing an annual external review of health and safety
Trust Expansion
· Working closely with the Chief Financial Officer and Executive Principal to provide high quality due diligence and research for all new academies that join the Trust
· Working with the Chief Financial Officer to identify and secure funding for Trust expansion
Quality Assurance
· Working closely with the Executive Principal, Chief Financial Officer and Head of Marketing and Communications to ensure highly effective quality assurance systems are in place across the Trust
Data Development
· Working closely with the Executive Principal, Chief Financial Officer and Academy Business Managers to ensure high quality data systems and practices are embedded across the Trust
Marketing
· Working with the Executive Principal and Head of Marketing and Communications to create, implement, measure and report on an outstanding marketing and communication strategy across the Trust.
General Research
Working closely with all three academies to undertake a range of research to support ongoing development and success of the Trust.
