Vision for Education are working on behalf of a popular community primary school who are seeking a Year 1 Class Teacher to begin after the Easter Holidays.
The role
The Teacher would be responsible for working alongside a partner teacher in Year 1. The Teacher would get one afternoon per week for PPA within the school. The ideal candidate would be confident in using a computer to carry out remote learning if required. Ideally the school would like to have this Teacher in on Thursdays and Fridays up until Easter in order to settle in to the school and get to know the pupils.

The school is located approximately 10 miles south of Peterborough and is rated as ‘Requires Improvement’ by Ofsted in 2019.
Requirements
To be considered for this position, you will:
• Hold Qualified Teacher Status
• Have experience working in Year 1
• To have a current DBS on the update service or be prepared to apply for one through Vision for Education
• To be computer literate in order to do remote learning if required
• To ideally, be available to work Thursdays and Fridays up until Easter to settle in and get to know pupils
