We are looking for a teacher to join our creative, forward thinking school in September 2017.  In December 2016 we were graded as an 'Outstanding' school in which children are at the centre of school improvement priorities and teachers are passionate about making a difference to children's lives.  The school also has a COIN (Communication and Interaction Needs) Centre and we pride ourselves on the truly inclusive ethos of our friendly school.

We have extremely high expectations of all our children whilst at the same time retaining the community atmosphere of a small primary school.  As a result, the outcomes of the children at Pyrcroft Grange are consistently above national averages.

We offer

  • A vision focused on achieving the very best outcomes for all children.
  • Well resourced facilities inluding exceptional outdoor learning environments.
  • A highly committed and professional team.
  • Excellent CPD and career development within the framework of a successful and supportive Multi Academy Trust.
  • Opportunities to be involved with Initial Teacher Training.

The successful candidate must:

  • Have a passion for teaching and the drive to create a stimulating learning environment in which children are engaged and motivated.
  • Be confident to lead a team of teaching assistants.
  • Be both aspirational and nurturing to ensure every child achieves his/her full potential.
  • Enjoy working as part of a team, sharing ideas and practice with colleagues.

Pyrcroft Grange Primary School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.  The post involves working with children and therefore if successful you will be required to apply for a disclosure of criminal records at an enhanced level.  Pyrcroft Grange Primary School is an equal opportunities employer.

If you are interested in joining our forward thinking school please make an appointment with the Head's PA Mrs Flack on 01932 564094 for a tour around the school with Headteacher and see our wonderful children learning.
