£130 - £150 per day PAYE

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position is holding QTS and recent teaching experience in Primary. 

The role 

Smart Teachers are recruiting for full-time Year 1 Class Teacher to work in a three-form entry school in Hounslow. The suitable candidate will be responsible for the planning, teaching and the assessment/record keeping of the Year 1 Class. The ideal candidate will have strong behaviour management skills and a passion for working with children within this year group.  The role is to start in January until the end of the academic year 2022. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, friendly and work well in a close knit, supportive team. 


The school 

The school has been rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted and we have received some really positive feedback from the staff who have worked there. The school is inclusive, has a solid relationship with the community and are passionate about outdoor and inquiry-based learning. The school pride themselves in having excellent facilities within the Music, Drama and Sports departments. Staff always say that they feel welcomed and supported and once long-term, the school always include temporary staff within their CPD programmes as well as other packages to help boost staff well-being and morale. The children are encouraged to develop academically and socially using creative and exciting resources to instil a love and curiosity for learning.


Requirements

To be considered for the Year 1 Class Teacher , you must:

• Hold QTS 

• Have recent experience with primary 

• Comfortable with behaviour management 

• Comfortable planning and delivering lessons in KS1

• Eligibility to work in the UK (must have a valid visa)
