We are looking to appoint a candidate with a proven track record of raising educational standards and inspirational teaching and learning in Key stage 1, alongside a commitment to engage positively with pupils, staff and the local community.

Oak Tree Primary School and Nursery was welcomed into the Aspire Multi-Academy Trust when the school converted to academy status in November 2018 as a sponsored Academy. Since then, we have been praised by the RSC’s team for making “rapid progress”, but there is further work to be done in raising standards, especially following the impact of the pandemic and we are still awaiting our first Ofsted inspection as a new academy! We are an inclusive school and welcome children from all walks of life and all faiths.

Here at Oak Tree Primary School and Nursery our aim is to offer this generation of children, young people and those involved in their education the very best leadership, teaching and learning, professional development and support services. We pride ourselves on focusing on the needs of each and every child. Our aim is to enable them not only to make exceptional progress, but also to learn how to get on well with one another and make friends in a supportive environment. We are a ‘Take Care’ school.
