A busy primary school in Nechells, Birmingham are recruiting for a full time Year 1 teacher for the new academic year. This will be a full-time position which would ideally suit an NQT and will continue on a long-term basis for a minimum of 2 terms.
The successful candidate will be a creative and passionate teacher who can build excellent working relationships and demonstrate a passion for pupil development. You will be an engaging and confident individual who can show commitment towards improving standards and act as a positive role model to all.
The position will be temporary for the first 2 terms; however, the school are ideally looking to recruit someone permanently to join their team. The role will be full time, with full classroom and planning responsibilities expected.
What to do next:
To be considered for this position you will be required to attend a face to face registration and hold an enhanced DBS check in ‘Child Workforce’ which must be registered on The Update Service. At the registration we will discuss in more detail the work that you are looking for, your experience to date, and also how we are going to work best for you.
We will need to gain references to cover the last 2 years, and a minimum of 2 references must be a school based. Our compliance team have a rigorous safeguarding and clearance process and this is how we know we are working with the best possible team of staff to employ in our schools.
