Copthill School is a thriving, purpose-built, independent day school for 300 boys and girls, aged between 2 and 11. Located on a farm, surrounded by 350 acres of beautiful rural countryside in south Lincolnshire, our unique site enables us to offer our children a wide range of outdoor experiences. Safe access to extensive woods, a river, fields, tracks, farm animals and archaeological sites makes outdoor learning a daily reality for our children.
Our emphasis is on health, exercise, inspiration and engagement.
The school continues to deliver academic success and has a proud history of academic excellence. Our children regularly achieve scholarships and academic awards to both independent and state schools in their final year exams, with an average of 13 scholarships having been awarded each year over the last three years.
Due to retirement, an exciting, rare opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and experienced KS1 teacher. Our primary focus is inspiring teaching in small classes with excellent assistant support.
The post would initially be a Year 1 class, teaching 5 mornings and 3 afternoons. This job could be full time for applicants with appropriate qualifications and with experience and enthusiasm for outdoor learning. An enthusiastic contribution to the wider life of this busy school will be expected.
