Job overview

We are working with a Rugby based Primary School as they look for an Year 1 teacher, KS1 specialist to provide long term cover from February Half term on a part time basis.

Role: 

· Part-Time Teaching Role – Monday to Wednesday

· Must have recent KS1 experience – ideally within a mainstream School/Academy

· This position is to start from February half term and will run until the end of the current academic year.

· Competitive daily rate

· The School is based in Rugby

· A ‘good’ Primary School 

· Approximately 200 pupils on the school roll


In order to be considered for this role, you will need to meet the following criteria:

· A proven track record of success in a similar, recent role

· A good working knowledge of the current KS1 framework

· Be eligible to work in the UK (must have a valid visa) 

· Must hold relevant teaching qualifications (Bachelor of Education / PGCE) 

· Have previous experience teaching the UK curriculum 

· Have recent classroom experience as teacher in the UK (essential)

· Commitment to support the ethos of this school

· Be confident in using ICT in their professional role 

· Have excellent communication skills 

· Possess valid references, DBS/police checks

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years, teaching within a school teaching the British Curriculum).
