ABC Teachers are looking to recruit an experienced Year 1 Teacher to work in a ‘good’ school located in Tipton. This role is part-time and is due to start in September 2018 for 2 terms only to cover a maternity leave. The set days for this role have not yet been decided so the school is happy to negotiate with the candidate. They want their children’s time at school to be a positive experience and hope that they look back and remember their journey. The school has very high expectations and standards and would want the candidate to join in the schools ethos.
The role in question is a 3 day a week class teacher role; this means that planning, marking and assessing are expected, however it is shared between both teachers. Along with this, parents evening and 2 staff meetings will need to be attended. You will get PPA time along with the other class teacher so you can share ideas and have the same plan for the children.
The ideal candidate will-
· KS1 Specialist- a minimum of 2 years’ experience
· Be able to provide 2 educational references
· Willing to commit to the entirety of the role
· Up to date knowledge on the national curriculum
· Qualified teacher status- NQTs are welcome to apply
Located in Tipton, this makes it the ideal role for teachers located in the surrounding areas including Sandwell and Dudley. The school in question is not far from the M5 and M6 and also has frequent public transport for those who do not drive.
If you think this is the job for you, then please don’t delay in applying!
