We are currently looking to appoint a Year 2 Class teacher to join us at Grange Park Preparatory School. This is a part time maternity cover and will be to start in April 2023. The days of work will be Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.

Grange Park Preparatory School and Nursery based in Enfield, North London is a co-educational independent school for children aged 3 -11 years, which provides a broad and balanced education within a unique setting. It offers an individually focused education in a friendly environment, promoting excellence in learning and encouraging exceptional behaviour. It is a truly inclusive school with a unique family feel and offers small classes, dedicated and enthusiastic teachers and experiences catered to the needs and interests of every child. The school has a strong family atmosphere and prepare pupils exceptionally well for schools of their choice at age 11+.

We are looking for a passionate teacher who is able to enthuse our pupils while providing the highest standard of teaching.

We would like to hear from you if you have the following qualifications & experiences:

• Qualified Teacher Status and evidence of continuing professional development

• The ability to deliver high quality teaching and learning to pupils within Key Stage 1/2.

• Can inspire children with enthusiasm and a love of learning.

• Have a sound knowledge of the requirements of the national curriculum.

• Are able to prepare and plan for teaching, taking account of the requirements of all children within their class.

• Can prepare and develop, teaching materials, teaching programmes, methods of teaching and assessment and pastoral arrangements.

We welcome applications from experienced teachers or those early in their career. Applications from teachers who has prior preparatory school experience or state school experience will be considered.
