Olga Gudynn International School (OGIS) is seeking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 2 Class Teacher to join our primary team. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate teacher to support young learners at a key stage in their development, fostering curiosity, confidence, and a love of learning.

The successful candidate will deliver a broad and engaging curriculum based on the Cambridge Primary Curriculum, supporting pupils’ academic progress as well as their personal and social development.

Key Responsibilities

       Teach a Year 2 class within the primary phase

       Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the Cambridge Primary Curriculum

       Assess, monitor, and support pupil progress

       Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment

       Work collaboratively with colleagues, teaching assistants, and parents

       Contribute to the wider life of the school, including events and activities

Person Specification

       A degree in Primary Education or a relevant subject

       PGCE, QTS, or equivalent teaching qualification

       Experience teaching in the primary phase (preferably Key Stage 1)

       Familiarity with or experience teaching the Cambridge Primary Curriculum is desirable

       Strong classroom management and organisational skills

       A nurturing and child-centred approach to teaching

       Commitment to high standards of teaching and learning
