ABC Teachers are working on behalf of a Catholic school based in Great Barr who are ideally looking for a Year 2 teacher to take on the full-class teacher role as of January 2018 or as soon as possible. This position is 5 days a week on a supply basis ending in July 2018. With this being a Catholic school, it would be advantageous to have a catholic teaching certificate, but not essential. You will be given PPA time once a week where you can use this time to suit you best!
The schools aim is to create a positive and caring environment in which every child has the opportunity to realise their true potential in a creative, happy and secure environment through quality Catholic education. They value all parents, carers and Governors along with all staff in the school.
The ideal candidate will-
· KS1 specialist- Year 2
· SATs experience
· Up to date knowledge of the national curriculum
· Experienced teacher with a minimum of 2 years’ in KS1
· Be involved in the catholic ethos
· Be able to provide two educational references within the last 2 years
Located in Great Barr, this makes it an ideal location for many teachers based in the Birmingham and Sandwell areas. Situated just of the M6 this allows an easy commute for both drivers and non-drivers.
