ABC Teachers are currently seeking a qualified Primary Teacher for a position that has arisen in Handsworth.
ABC Teachers are working with an outstanding Primary School in the Handsworth area of North Birmingham who are currently seeking a qualified Year 2 Teacher for a position that has arisen to start in September, several weeks after the start of the new academic year. You will be teaching a wonderful class of 23 who are all very well behaved and are expected to do well in their end of year SATs. The position is on a full time basis and is expected to last until the end of the first term at Christmas.
For the position, the school have asked that you:
- Have QTS status,
- Have prior experience of teaching in KS1, ideally teaching Year 2,
- Are able to provide positive and constructive feedback to students through marking and assessment,
- Have excellent communication skills,
- Have the ability to teach an outstanding lesson keeping in line with the school’s reputation of being an excellent teaching school &
- Are able to provide two relevant teaching references from within the last 5 years.
