St Pius V, Banyo is seeking two primary classroom teachers to fill 6 month contracts in Semester 2, 2019. Both positions are teaching Year 2. To be successful in this role you will be able to meet the following criteria: appropriate qualifications and experience, effective communication skills, an ability to work in partnership with colleagues, students and parents/carers, an ability to attend to detail in innovative and creative practices, and a clear understanding of the Australian Curriculum. Applicants are required to address these points in the "letter of application" section of the on-line application form. As this position requires classroom teaching of Religious Education, applicants must be Catholic.

St Pius, Banyo, situated 14kms north east of the CBD and 10 minutes drive from the airport, is a co-educational primary school established in the tradition of St Mary of the Cross Mackillop, with a current enrolment of 430 students. All students and teachers have ready access to a range of technologies, with wireless computer networking being available throughout the school. Our facilities also include a pool, multi-purpose hall and large oval. The school is set in spacious gardened surrounds. Our welcoming community proudly lives out our motto Live, Love, Learn.
