Contract dates

This teaching role will entail a long-term supply position which will commence in February 2020 and continuing for 6-12 weeks. This is a full-time role working Monday to Friday from 8:30 – 15.30.

The role

As part of this role, the desired candidate will be assisting in year 2. The practitioner will be working 1 to 1 and with small groups of pupils to help boost attainment. 

The school

The Sunderland based school is medium sized, highly driven and have a strong hierarchy of support. The candidate will have to adopt to the community ethos of the school, along with their ambition.

Requirements

To be considered for the Year 2 TA position, you will:

• Read, Write inc trained

• Hold a minimum of a Level 2 qualification in Childcare. 

• Have experience of working as a Teaching assistant in a Primary School environment.

• Be experienced in working with smaller nurture groups to boost attainment.

• Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of school staff.

• Have experience assisting with children who have SEN (Not necessary).
