ABC Teachers are looking to recruit an experienced Year 2 (KS1) TA to work in a ‘Good’ school in Smethwick. This role is full-time and is due to start after February half-term until the end of the academic year to help support the class teacher with Year 2 SATs. You will be in charge of delivering interventions to low ability pupils to help raise attainment. The class teacher will have planning that you will need to follow, however you might need to adapt this to suit all children individually.  The school wants their pupils to have a love of exploring facts, finding information and developing new skills; they want them to be inquisitive and enquiring.

The role in question is a full-time position working Monday- Friday. You will be working within small groups and completing 1.1 if needed. It is important that you have recent experience within Year 2 and that you are confident running your own individual groups.

Expectations for the role:-

· Qualified to level 3

· KS1 Specialist ( Year 2)

· Over 6 months experience in the last 2 years

· Willing to commit to the entirety of the role

· Flexible and adaptable

· Hard working

· Teamwork
