The British International School of Barranquilla,  Colombia is seeking  a qualified   primary school teacher, who is a native  level speaker of English to start in August 2019.

You need 1 years or more of experience as a primary teacher and a PGCE or equivalent qualification.

We are a British School for ages 3 to 19 , situated in the  beautiful caribbean city of Barranquilla, with an excellent reputation. We are an IB World School  run IB, MYP and Diploma and the Cambridge curriculum in the primary section.

The post come  with a high salary for Colombia, an international two year  contract, modern city  apartment accommodation per teacher , visas and flights.

British International School – Barranquilla is a co-educational independent all-through school. It is based in Atlántico in Colombia. 

The school was founded in 1981. Children can enter the Early Years section starting at age of 3. From Nursery to Year 11, all the school’s international academic programmes are validated by Cambridge University and follow England's national curriculum from Key Stage 1 to Key Stage 4. From their first day at school, all students become members of one of the school’s four houses: Wellington, Darwin, Shakespeare and Churchill. In Year 10 students are offered a series of IGCSE courses, with exams being presented at the end of Year 11. In Years 12 and 13, students can also take the International Baccalaureate Diploma programme.
