Job overview
My client, a lovely 2 form entry school in Barnsley are looking for a Year 3 teacher, their most Recent Ofsted in 2015 was graded as Good. They are looking for someone to start full time after the Christmas break 2017 with experience working as a year 3 teacher.
You must be / have:
- Excellent knowledge of the year 3 curriculum
- Work effectively as part of a team
- Demonstrate good behaviour management
- Have high expectations of attainment
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Previous experience of teaching lower key stage 2
- Enthusiasm for the role and a creative flare
- The ability to form excellent working relationships with staff and students from a diverse range of backgrounds
- Experience of planning and assessment to a very high standard
- A commitment to improving attainment for all students
- A proven track record for raising attainment and achieving targets
