Year 4 Class Teacher

An opportunity has arisen for a well-qualified, enthusiastic and flexible candidate to join our highly respected and successful school as a Year 4 Class Teacher. Starting in February 2020, this is a maternity cover role which is likely to last until the end of the Autumn Term 2020. 

During this time, you will play an important role in our teaching team and will benefit from relevant continued professional development opportunities.

The successful candidate will:

• be able to demonstrate a real passion and talent for motivating and enthusing young learners to achieve their best

• have excellent planning and preparation skills

• have the ability to problem-solve and manage classroom behaviour effectively

• be resilient under pressure

• show a strong commitment to promoting the well-being of pupils

• work collaboratively with colleagues

The ability to also coach games, as well as contribute to our exciting extra-curricular provision, would be an advantage.

The post is suitable for experienced teachers as well as those new to the profession.
