Contract type: Part Time / Full Time
Salary: £90-£195
Contract term: Supply
Suitable for NQTs: Yes

I have been asked by a school near Ripley to find an NQT to join their busy year 4 team. As a three-form entry school they are looking to build on a strong staff so that they are set for the years ahead, which is why they want an NQT as they will be able to adapt to the way they work as a school. This has been spurred on by the change in management style the school has seen over the past 2 years due to a new head teacher and the fact they academised.

The school are looking to improve their Ofsted grading, an agenda being push by both the SLT and the academy board. This means that the school are providing brilliant resources to all teaching staff as well as making sure any NQT’s are given a mentor and ample time to prepare and plan lessons each week. Each class will also have access to a Teaching Assistant who can both provide 1:1 support for struggling students as well as help the teacher with other tasks.

The type of person who fits in well with the school is an enthusiastic and driven individual who is capable of putting in the extra effort to make sure their lessons are at a high standard. The school also like teachers who help out in other extracurricular areas such as after school or lunchtime clubs and like to encourage their staff to share their hobbies with the children.

Now is an extremely exciting time to join ABC teachers as we were acquired by TES over Easter 2016; they have chosen to work with 3 agencies throughout the country and ours was one of them. We are also recognised and awarded the Gold Standard by the REC which will give you peace of mind that you are registering with the right agency.

If you register with ABC Teachers, we are so confident about getting you work; we will run you a brand new DBS and once you have fully registered and worked 1 day with us, we will refund you the money. This will save you close to £50! (Subject to terms and conditions)
