Role: Primary class Teacher
Age Group: Key Stage 2
Location: North east Derbyshire
Date: October 2018 –January 2018
About the role:
I have been asked by a school toward the north east of Derbyshire to find a year 5 teacher for one of their two year 5 classes.
The school have specifically stated that they want a teacher who is experienced in key stage 2 and who is willing to push themselves in order to ensure the class don’t miss out on their education. A solid and up to date knowledge of the curriculum is a must, as is behaviour management skills. It is important to the class that anyone who puts themselves forward for the role has experience of managing TA’s.
As the class teacher you may be required to take on additional responsibilities including attending staff meetings, parent’s evenings as well as the occasional school trip. The SLT have asked for referenceable experience of getting good results in a year 5 class, as they want someone who is capable of pushing the class academically in preparation of year 6 and the SATs.
The school will be holding interviews for the role throughout September and are most likely going to ask a handful of candidates to come in and teach a class for a day as a trial.

If you register with ABC Teachers, we are so confident about getting you work; we will run you a brand new DBS and once you have fully registered and worked 1 day with us, we will refund you the money. This will save you close to £50! (Subject to terms and conditions)
