Vision for Education are looking to appoint a dedicated, hardworking Year 6 (KS2) Teacher to work in a local primary school located in Bury, Greater Manchester.

This is a full-time primary teaching role, covering a Year 6 class which will commence in January 2020 until August 2020.

The role

The desired Year 6 Teacher (KS2) will be working in an average size class of 30 pupils, with a wide range of ability levels. The school would ideally like someone who has recently taught in a Year 6 class and has experience supporting year 6 SATs. The ideal candidate must have strong classroom management with a can do attitude, 

This will be a full class teaching role and the successful applicant will be expected to plan and deliver fun and engaging lessons in Key Stage 2 (KS2).  The successful applicant will be supported by an experienced Level 3 Teaching assistant and there is an expectation that the successful teacher would be able to deliver an extra-curricular activity.

The learning within school is purposeful, well-ordered and planned to ensure it offers engaging and exciting activities, both within school and beyond.  The school takes on an active role within the local community and opens it’s doors to parents and carers.


To be considered for the position of Year 6 (KS2) Teacher, you will:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

• Have experienced supporting year 6 SATs 

• Have experience teaching primary education at a Key Stage 2 level.

• Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of primary Teachers.

• Have a passion for teaching with the ability to plan and deliver inspiring lessons.
