The Governors and Headteacher of Heath View Academy are seeking to appoint a Year 6 Teacher to start from January 2017. Salary range MPS2 – MPS6

Heath View Academy is a mixed primary school located in Wakefield, West Yorkshire. The school, serving children aged 3-11, is considered bigger than average. It is part of Wakefield City Academies Trust, a large academy group with over 20 schools at both primary and secondary level. The school aims to provide a curriculum that challenges pupils. Staff use a wide range of teaching and learning styles to help children achieve to the best of their abilities. Owing to its diverse intake of pupils, the school works hard to foster a spirit of cooperation among children. In order to prepare them for the transition to secondary education, Heath View Academy aims to ensure pupils are capable of learning and supporting themselves independently, as well as aiding each other in overcoming challenges both academic and social.
