Smart Teachers is recruiting for a committed Year 6 Teacher to join a primary school in Waltham Forest that has improved drastically in the last couple of years. The school are looking for a Year 6 Teacher who wants to make a difference in one of the most crucial years within the primary age-range. Part of a rapidly developing trust, consisting of three schools across five sites, this primary school values outstanding education and places great emphasis on building, supporting and nurturing teachers. This is a full time two term Year 6 Teacher role from January 2019 until July 2019, and has the option of continuing into the following academic year.  

About the Role

· Year 6 Teacher

· To contribute fully to the Year 6 team and successfully guide your class through SAT examinations 

· Two term assignment starting January 2019, paid on a daily rate timesheet basis 

· Daily rate between £140-£165

· Two form entry primary school , situated in a culturally diverse area of east London

· Graded ‘Good’

· Very advanced in terms of ICT

· Has a new ‘Greenery’ on site, with the Forest Education aspect now delivered within their curriculum

· Within Year 6 there are additional staff to compliment the Year group

· Full and part time TA’s in class

· Being part of an academy trust there is great opportunity for cross-school CPD and positive teaching modelling

· Within walking distance of Walthamstow Central station

In order to be considered for this role, the Year 6 Teacher will need to meet the following criteria:

· Bachelor of Education / PGCE / or equivalent teaching degree

· Proven experience teaching the UK curriculum

· NQTs and/or OS-trained teachers are welcome to apply

· Eligible to work in the UK (must have valid visa)

· Recent classroom-based references and valid DBS/police checks
