Whether you’re a newly qualified teacher wanting to work in an intermediate setting with incredibly supportive mentors, an overseas experienced teacher with a passion for collaborative teaching, or a Kiwi teacher moving to the next step of your career, we want to hear from you!
Remuera Intermediate is looking for a dedicated and motivated intermediate teacher (Year 7 & 8) to join their team from 27 January 2020. This is a permanent position.
“Reliability, Integrity, Service” are the values of this large, culturally diverse, and well-run intermediate school. They aim to provide quality education to both local and international students. Their learning environment is rigorous and enriching and helps to support the unique social, emotional, and academic needs of emerging adolescents.
If you’re looking to work in a well-resourced school, join a collaborative and social team, and are passionate about educating, mentoring, and guiding young people, then this might be the school for you! You’ll be teaching a recently revamped curriculum that creates a more relevant, engaging, and inspiring learning experience while still maintaining high levels of academic rigour. Beyond the classroom, the school offers an extensive range of extra-curricular activities to help students discover and foster their passions.
The school has a supportive, motivated, and positive community surrounding it that values education in all its forms. They have a culture built on fun, positive and supportive relationships that allow all members of the school community to thrive.
You’ll be working in an inner-city suburb, close to the heart of Auckland city. Known for its stunning beaches, great shopping, an exceptional bar and restaurant experience, and a weekend cafe culture, it won’t be hard to see why Auckland is considered one of the most liveable cities in the world!
