Are you an innovative and exciting classroom teacher who wants a new challenge? Do you have energy, enthusiasm and ideas for developing effective teaching and learning? Can you make a positive impact and contribute, significantly, to our school improvement journey?

If the answer to these questions is yes then you should consider this role as the next step in your career.

You would need to be committed to a curriculum that engages, inspires and is owned by the learner. At the heart of our curriculum are the drivers Aspiration, Community and Enquiry.

We can offer a unique professional development opportunity, a committed staff team and lively and engaged pupils. Our year teams each have four classes. The governors are seeking to appoint an individual to lead one of these year teams. As a year leader you will be responsible for ensuring the effectiveness of your year group team including taking responsibility for standards and for teaching and learning across the year group. You will ensure the implementation of the school improvement plan and be part of the middle management team.

Come and take a look round and see whether this is the right post for you.
