Job overview

Where possible interviews will be held on site within our schools and we will adhere to our current Covid policy for external visitors. Otherwise interviews will be held remotely by Teams.

Working pattern: Monday to Friday, 8.15am – 3.15pm with 30 minutes unpaid lunch break.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Year Manager to join the team at the Three Rivers Academy.

This role contributes to students’ learning activities by managing the day-to-day business of the Year Team assisting with all aspects of students progress including their personal and social development. This role will include supervision of students during their lunchtime period.

Successful candidates will have a minimum of three GCSEs at Grade C or above (including English and Maths) or equivalent or able to evidence ability at an equivalent level. Good written and oral communication skills are also essential, with the ability to prioritise and plan your own work load.

Three Rivers Academy moved into a brand-new school building in February 2018 which offers spacious, modern and outstanding facilities. Three Rivers Academy is a school that maximises opportunities for young people to develop academically and socially in an environment that is stimulating, caring and supportive. This was recognised in the Ofsted report from May 2019 where the school was judged to be GOOD in every category.

Three Rivers Academy is a mixed, non-selective, non-denominational secondary school situated in Hersham, Surrey. There are approximately 924 students at the school between 11-18 years.    

Formerly Rydens School, Rydens Enterprise School and Sixth Form College converted to academy status in 2012. The school opened in 1954.

Healthy living is supported effectively through sports and extra-curricular activities as well as in physical education and food technology lessons. The school has developed good links with other post-16 providers so that pupils receive a range of appropriate careers advice and support".
