About the role

We are looking for an experienced and highly competent Year Officer to join our excellent team from September 2022.  You will assist the Head and Deputy Head of Year by being responsible for the induction of new arrivals, supporting with pastoral and welfare issues and improving attendance among pupils.

Together with the Head and Deputy Head of Year, you will:

  • Be responsible for coordinating the pastoral welfare of pupils in a group
  • Organise induction for new pupil arrivals
  • Support and work with pupils and families to maximise learning for individuals’ pupils
  • Improve attendance in their year, maintain accurate records, and liaise with parents/carers regarding pupil absence
