Job overview

Work in an innovative and forward thinking team.

Ofsted Outstanding in EYFS.

"Children are taught how to be successful learners as soon as they join the Reception class. They follow the school’s excellent routines such as silent movement between activities and tracking the person speaking." Ofsted 2016.

Dixons Music Primary opened with 30 Reception children on 4 September 2012 and will rise to its full capacity of 420 pupils by September 2019. We have created an impressive culture of success through the operation of strict routines and protocols, an unwavering focus on results and by offering the very best teaching and support. Students learn, behave and are well mannered; staff and students enjoy what they do together. In our achievement-oriented culture, it is cool to be smart, and all students work hard to climb the mountain to university or a real alternative.

We are looking for an ambitious and committed teacher to teach our Year R class. The right candidate will be totally aligned to our values of hard work, independence and enjoyment, and completely committed to our mission: the academy will ensure that all students succeed at university (or a real alternative), thrive in a top job and have a great life.

Why choose us?

Culture of high expectations; teachers can teach and students can learn

Focus on feedback NOT marking

No off-the-shelf strategies; weekly coaching

Exceptionally visible SLT

Schemes of work fully resourced and ready

A note from the Principal

We promise to do whatever it takes to ensure that every student at Dixons Music Primary achieves their full potential. We have extremely high expectations, and just as there are no shortcuts, there are no excuses. At Music Primary, we all have a sentence that states the lasting impression we want to leave on the world. Our academy sentence is: “The academy ensured that all students succeeded at university, or a real alternative, thrived in a top job and had a great life.”

At Music Primary, we enjoy what we do together because we remain positive and never give up; we are loyal and reliable; we are open-minded and treat all people fairly. We hope you find our website useful. Please do not hesitate to contact the Academy if we can help in any way.

Luke Robbins-Ross

Principal
