The MFL Department
This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced teacher to join our highly successful MFL Department consisting of 7 members of staff who are passionate about the teaching of Languages. We pride ourselves in working as a team; we aim to ensure that each teacher of MFL will feel able to contribute fully to the practices of the Department as well as share ideas and resources.
Other members of the Department are encouraged to take on responsibilities to enhance their professional development. These include such things as: PGCE mentoring, trips and visits, gifted and talented students, SEN students, literacy, data analysis and after school clubs.
The department consists of five MFL classrooms in the Languages block, all well-furnished with PC, projector and whiteboard. All teaching materials are close at hand, including a wide range of shared resources online. We have a comfortable staff room with space to work enabling the team to meet socially and to share thoughts and ideas.
