Job overview
Post: HR Manager
Location: South London
Salary: Salary Range £43,000 to £53,000 dependent on qualifications, skills and experience.
Employer: Trinity Academy Secondary School
Specialist area: HR function
This is a unique opportunity for an experienced and highly skilled HR practitioner to join a new and expanding Academy.
Located in the centre of Brixton, Trinity Academy is determined to become one of the best schools in south London. We have excellent facilities, having recently moved into our new purpose built school. We are innovative and caring with an unwavering focus on behaviour and academic standards.
The Academy has Investors in People recognition (Silver Award) and has recently been judged as Good in its first Ofsted inspection.
We are looking to appoint an experienced and highly skilled HR Manager to consolidate and fully embed our HR policies and procedures and to provide an effective and efficient HR function. Previous experience of working in a school is desirable but not essential.
This is a standalone generalist post and the postholder will be responsible for all aspects of the employee life cycle. As the Academy continues to grow, recruitment is a major component of this role and previous experience of managing assessment centres is essential.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of an expanding Academy. Ideally, you will be CIPD qualified (level 5 or higher) or willing to work towards qualification.
We can offer you:
• An excellent benefits package, including private health insurance, child care voucher scheme and interest free season ticket loans.
• A supportive working environment in a brand new building with the most up to date technology.
• A great career opportunity to develop professionally.
We would like to hear from you if you:
• Have sound experience as an HR practitioner.
• Have strong interpersonal, negotiating and influencing skills.
• Are enthusiastic, self-motivated and keen to progress.
We are willing to be flexible about hours of work and would also consider job sharing for the right candidate(s).
Closing date: 14th January 2019 at 12 noon.
