We are seeking a hard-working, reliable and flexible Part time Teaching Assistant to work as part of the energetic Early Years and the Pre-Prep department at St Hugh’s School voted Tatler’s ‘Best Prep School 2024’. The working days for this role will be Mondays to Wednesdays, 0800 - 1730. (Although there may be scope to increase these days).

Your role will be to provide educational opportunities, support and supervision for pupils during the school days. The successful candidate will be flexible and hardworking and have a Level 3 NVQ or equivalent in a related field of study. You will be welcomed onto an enthusiastic, collaborative and dynamic team who are committed to ensuring that our pupils are provided with a stimulating education in a rounded nurturing environment.

St Hugh's is a highly regarded co-educational day and boarding prep school with 360 pupils between the ages of 3 and 13yrs. We are situated on a beautiful green campus of 40 acres in the South Oxfordshire countryside, only 25 minutes from Central Oxford.

St Hugh’s Oxfordshire is a highly regarded co-educational, day and boarding independent preparatory school with 350 boys and girls from the ages of 3 to 13.

Founded in 1906 in Chislehurst, Kent, St Hugh’s School was named after Hugh of Avalon, Bishop of Lincoln from 1156 to 1200. In 1946, the school relocated to Carswell Manor, a Jacobean country house surrounded by 40 acres in Oxfordshire. The school became a charitable trust in 1967 and is administered by a board of governors who are also trustees.
