Business Studies Teacher – MPS/UPS, full time permanent
We have an exciting opportunity for someone with experience and creativity to contribute to raising achievement in Business Studies. This would suit a recently qualified teacher seeking their first post, or an experienced teacher looking for a new opportunity to join our Business Studies & Economics department.
We are looking for
• an enthusiastic, and committed colleague to join our Business Studies & Economics Team;

• an excellent communicator who can bring out the potential of all young people;
Crompton House is a highly successful, over-subscribed 11–18 Church of England school situated on the edge of the Pennines, in Oldham, north east of Manchester. It is a “good school with a strong sense of purpose and tradition.” Progress and achievement are excellent with 82% of our pupils achieving grade 4 or above in English and Maths in 2018.

Crompton House Church of England School is a co-educational secondary academy with sixth form in Oldham, Greater Manchester. The 1,300 students who attend are required to be members of the Anglican church in order to gain a place (except for in the sixth form). The academy is located in the High Crompton area of Oldham, but also serves the communities of Rochdale, Middleton, Alkrington, Bamford, Littleborough and Saddleworth.
The school is served by the Anglican Diocese and left the governance of Oldham Council to become an academy in 2011. Crompton House was founded in 1926 by Mary Crompton.
