Job overview

We are looking for a Business Administration Apprentice to join our team.

This apprentice vacancy is fixed term for 18 months.

This is an excellent opportunity for an organised, pro-active and friendly person to join our Administration team. Working towards a Level 3 Business Administrator Standard, you will work under supervision to provide high-quality administrative support within the Office and Data team at Nottingham Academy.

Experience is not required but you must be enthusiastic and keen to learn new skills, with a good eye for detail. This is a term time only role and this is reflected in the pro-rata salary. 

This role will include:

  • Distribution of incoming mail, franking and sending outgoing mail
  • Maintain electronic and manual systems, including data inputting, in an efficient and effective manner
  • Arranging, co-ordinating and communicating details for meetings, training and events
  • Prepare and edit correspondence, presentations and other correspondence
  • Storing and maintaining confidential documents 

We are looking for someone with:

  • excellent communication skills
  • attention to detail
  • excellent IT skills
  • the ability to form good working relationships
