About The Rosedale Hewens Academy Trust

The Rosedale Hewens Academy Trust was formed in June 2011 and now sponsors a family of secondary and primary schools in Hayes and the immediate area. With a proven track record of success, the Trust has played a critical part in driving the improvement agenda locally.  At the very centre of this Trust is Rosedale College, an oversubscribed 11-19 provider.  Working in partnership, Hewens College is also known as a quality provider that is ambitious for its students, and concerned to ensure the best possible outcomes are achieved for the learner.  Through strong partnership working, 'success is achieved through collaboration'.

The Trust is committed to delivering a curriculum which is broad and balanced, rich and varied, being flexible and responsive to each child’s wider needs.  With this in mind, Parkside Studio College offers a range of vocational courses for 14-19 year olds, with De Salis Studio College complementing the offer since September 2014.

Hewens Primary School opened as a 2 form entry free school on the Hewens College campus in September 2013 to complement Rosedale Primary School, which moved into purpose built accommodation in September 2014.  The Academy Trust also sponsors Brookside Primary School in Yeading.

On of the fundamental beliefs of the Trust is that children thrive in small educational settings where they are each known as individuals.  Across the provision, the Trust promotes a calm and ordered environment where children are encouraged to become confident, caring and articulate using their aptitudes and abilities to the full.  We aim to provide inspirational standards of teaching and learning and actively engage with parents, guardians and carers to ensure that every child succeeds.
