Attendance and Welfare Officer

Salary: PO4 scale points 37 to 39 (£43,776 - £45,193.97)

The purpose of this post is to:

  • Lead on securing and promoting good whole-school attendance
  • Act as one of the school's Designated Safeguarding Officers


You will be joining a small but incredibly friendly and supportive team.

You will have excellent communication, interpersonal, and IT skills. You will be able to analyse and manipulate attendance with ease. You will have experience in improving whole-school attendance in other settings.

You will also be resilient, highly organised, and demonstrate our GREAT values daily.

Hours: 8:30 - 16:00 daily (including a half an hour unpaid lunch break)

40 weeks per year (currently this means working term time only plus working 8 additional days during the school holidays or as overtime. You will work INSET days)
